Who is the COLC?

The COLC is a decision making body consisting of members that are producers, shippers, pipelines, terminals, industry associations and government regulators, and departments . It is also an open industry forum for discussion of effective and efficient management, supply and forecasting of crude oil and condensate movement issues for the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

4/1/2020	All. Apologies once again but seems the Petrinex calendar that we draw dates from was actually incorrect and not the same as the APMC calendar which we also draw dates from. So the Oil and LPG receipt volumes for March production are in fact due April 3rd as noted in the APMC calendar. As well the dates in July and October for June and September volumes have also been changed back to what we had previously. Again our apologies on this.
4/1/2020	A revised 2020 COLC forecast calendar has been published. Line Ref#35 for Oil and LPG receipt volumes was showing the wrong dates in April July and October. In April it was showing as April 3 but it should have been April 6. Apologies for any confusion.

3/11/2020	We have discovered a calculation error on some of the COLC Stat reports. The error is now fixed and we have posted revised Delivery and Receipt reports for August 2019 through December 2019. The error was caught prior to the January 2020 reports and so they are accurate.

6/24/2013	Calendar Cheque Exchange Deadline As everyone is likely aware of, there are Local State of Emergency’s in much of Southern Alberta resulting in the closure of the downtown core in Calgary. Although no one has access to their buildings, we understand that companies involved in the cheque exchange process are targeting to meet the June 25th deadline by working remotely on financial settlement of oil marketing transactions. We have been advised that the APMC is also targeting this deadline for their oil marketing transactions and that the APMC payments will be based on the most recent available information which may require transacting revisions after the cheque exchange deadline. The COLC is not involved in the Cheque Exchange process other than publishing the dates on the COLC Calendar. Any questions you have should be directed to any of the counterparties you deal with.
